Our Easter!

Bonjour!
I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter because it was def. that on the east coast! Me and the husband got up Sunday morning and made our way to Myrtle Beach for the day after a pit stop at Dunkin Donuts. It didnt take us long to get there. Just at 2 hours. The first place we saw was Alligator Adventure. Great place! Lots of fun and lots to see. Gators EVERYWHERE. Well over 1,000 in the entire park.

Feeding time! This part was pretty cool.

After Alligator Adventure we went to find the Ripley's Aquarium. Next to it were what looked like a few little shops. Chris said "Before we go in, lets see whats over there." Just behind the aquarium was something called Heros Harbor Boardwalk on the Beach. IT WAS HUGE! It was a massive boardwalk with dozens upon dozens of shops, restaurants and little activities. You could feed the ducks, ride some amusement park rides, "walk on water" in these balloons, paddles boat. It was amazing. We could have spent the whole day there and been happy.
This is the restaurant we ate dinner at, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. It was so fun!

Best shop ever!! All things cats!
This is only a small portion of the boardwalk pictured. It was the most gorgeous day. Just perfect.
Of course, of all the hundreds of people on the board walk I had to ask the one white woman that didnt speak english to take our picture.

At my favorite place. The Ripley's Aquarium.

Part of the boardwalk at night. We road two of these and it really took us back. We used to go to Visionland (a little theme park close to home) all the time when we were in high school. My favorite ride to go on with Chris was the himilaya. It basically just spins around really fast. It was my favorite because you had no choice but to be squished close to the person you're riding with.

The aquarium at night was so pretty!
We had such a fun time together. Everything was perfect. It was probably the last trip we'll be taking alone together in a while since we're moving back home at the end of the month. I'm turning in my two week notice at work tomorrow. I can't believe it's already here. It's real. It's happening. We're moving home. It's bittersweet. On one hand I've been wanting NOTHING but to go home for the past 3 years. We're going to be with our familiy and everyone we know and we're going to be out of the Marine Corps and just be NORMAL. But on the other hand we're going to be starting completely over from scratch. We've been married 3 years this month and we'll be living with my parents. Chris will be looking for a job. We'll be saving to buy a house. It's like the past 3 years will be erased. I'm so excited to go home but scared at the same time. I know everything will work out....eventually.
